Biography
Daniel Yogathas aka Dy was born on 06th of August in Mülheim an d. Ruhr, in Germany. He grew up with his brother Mohan and sister Mary Yogathas.
Already at the age of 6 years he was on stage the first time.
Thus, his artistic talent was discovered by family and friends and encouraged by his brother. Over time it turned out that he was born for the stage. Together with his brother KMY he was the founder of the label Badsquad. In his 14th Age, Dy published his first song and indeed a feat. with KMY. His brother plays an important role in his life, who also inspired him to play keyboard and drums. In addition, he sings and raps on three different languages namely German, English and his mother tongue Tamil.
2008, he succeeded in the Tamil scene the breakthrough with the song "Devethey'', which was one of his greatest successes.
The two singles "Ego", with which he was known throughout Europe and "Game Over" with that he scored the German public, he published at the age of 17.
2009 Dy released his first video ''Girl in Sari'', that was world famous on Youtube. Furthermore he appears in various TV shows, including in ''Make Us5 again."
Of more than 1,500 candidates from all over Germany, he made it into the Top.
On September 2009 this was broadcasted on the German channel Pro Sieben.
In 2011 his music career continued in Deutschland sucht den Superstar (translated: Germany searches for the superstar) is a German reality talent show, also commonly known by its initials DSDS.
Here he struggled with 44 000 candidates from Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands and made it into the Top 60.
Patrick Nuo, Fernando, Cassy Isy of Us 5 and Dieter Bohlen were impressed by his talent.
His career is on the right track and his dream not far away.
